Areas of Responsibility
The list below describes of the areas of responsibility during a new or upgrade ADS installation:
Oracle
- Installing the OPERA Enterprise (ORS/PMS) system.
 - Upgrading OPERA to the latest available E-patch suitable for installation and the customer's requirements.
 - Providing access to the installation packages through the Oracle Web site.
 - Installing the OPERA ADS interface.
 - Conduct OPERA ADS interface training.
 - Ongoing support of the OPERA ADS interface through the proper support channels.
 
Hotel
- Network connectivity and configuring the firewall of the hardware.
 - Configuring Channel Management.
 - Creating a profile and accounts receivable (AR) account for Expedia.
 - Managing the ADS interface, including checking logs, disk space, etc.
 - Managing ExtraNet.
 - Monitoring Expedia faxes for ADS interface booking failures.
 
Expedia
- Initiating contact with the site for Direct Connect.
 - Coordinating the implementation process.
 - Ordering and staging (imaging) the interface PC (for Direct Connect at the PMS level only).
 - Obtaining the SSL Certificate.
