Description. Allows the caching of general availability results in a cache schema when a request is made. This allows for a faster response when the same request is made again.

Activation / Inactivation Rules. |
Parameter can NOT be activated using Setup>Application Settings menu option. When user tries to activate the parameter through OPERA, a message will be displayed. To activate caching functionality, the user needs to run Opera_Smt and select the Activate Cache button. When user selects the Activate Cache button, it enables the Cached OWS General Availability parameter in OPERA and creates a cache schema with related tables. If user wants to leave the cache schema and tables, selecting the Remove Cache button on the Opera_Smt will turn off the cache. Cached OWS General Availability parameter can be turned off through Setup>Application Settings by setting the value to N. |
